Sygnia was launched in 2003 by a group of investment and IT professionals, who left highly successful corporates to form the entrepreneurial Sygnia. The Sygnia Group comprises Sygnia Asset Management, Sygnia Life and Sygnia Systems. Since its humble beginnings the company has grown exponentially, and today services clients in South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Sygnia Asset Management is a specialist investment management firm offering a range of multi-manager investment products and services to institutional and private clients. Sygnia's product range includes multi-asset class multi-manager funds, funds of hedge funds, index tracking funds and derivative products. Sygnia's customised multi-manager services offer clients the opportunity to design investment products to their own specifications, with Sygnia providing full investment administration and regulatory compliance support.
Sygnia Life is an investments-only life insurance company offering product and legal structuring services to Sygnia's clients.
Sygnia Systems is a specialist financial software provider with specific focus on the technology requirements of multi-management firms. Sygnia's proprietary Sygnia Platinum System is a new generation solution to administering complex multi-manager investment products. Incorporating all the back office and middle office functionality required by a multi-manager company, the system includes investment administration, unitisation, performance and risk analysis, portfolio management, reporting, and client relationship management tools.
