Our investment team consists of six portfolio managers and research analysts with a dedicated focus on asset management. All portfolio managers have in excess of 10 years experience in the investment industry and are actively involved in researching asset management companies and hedge funds. Strong quantitative and statistical background is a requirement for all investment staff we employ. Those skills and our proprietary quantitative analysis tools and models also allow us to offer clients a range of derivative based products and hedging strategies. These can be used in isolation, or as an overlay when investing in our fund of funds products in order to calibrate the overall risk and return profile of the investment strategy.
The Investment Team is supported by the Operational Due Diligence Team, which consists of professionals with financial, administration and legal backgrounds. The investment research conducted by the Investment Team is supplemented by a rigorous operational review of all asset managers and hedge funds selected by Sygnia. The skills and expertise of Sygnia's staff ensure that clients are not exposed to little understood risks associated with unsound operations.
