THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working in a LISP and institutional/corporate environment.
Corresponding with Clients to obtain the required FICA documents according to the various Entities within Sygnia
Work closely with Client Relationship Managers to obtain any outstanding documentation required to perform the re-FICA process.
Responsible for maintaining detailed notes on all cases assigned and regular follow up for any outstanding requirements.
Perform screening within our AML Online System for all Entities and associates to ensure that all clients are automatically run through daily screening
Maintain a good internal department relationship to ensure that you get the maximum support collaboration
Understand and adhere to the appropriate policies, standards and procedures applicable to the role.
Understand and manage risks and risk events relevant to the role and immediately report any findings to the Retail Manager for discussion and resolution
Facilitate that all timing standards are maintained and that you complete all daily tasks assigned
Maintain a healthy team spirit by assisting peers where needed.
Be prepared to work overtime on the project when required to do so in order to reach our set goals.
RISK & COMPLIANCE:
Adhere to all Sygnia policies.
Report any possible concerns about conduct or unfair treatment of customers to Compliance.
Report any suspicion that a client, investor, or employee may be involved in money laundering, fraud or any other crime to Risk and Compliance.
Be alert to possible risk and compliance issues within the general business.
Report any possible and actual breaches, errors, or complaints to Risk and Compliance.
Ensure best practice is followed to maintain confidentiality and security of all company data, client data and property.
Ensure regulatory, client, and other corporate records are maintained.
Ensure timely completion of all risk and compliance training.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A successful candidate must have:

Strong working knowledge of word processing, and spreadsheets (MSWord, Excel).
Written and verbal skills is key in this position as this role involves dealing with clients
Attention to detail, with a sense of urgency, is a strong requirement.
