Your role

Karabo is a CFA Level II Candidate specialising in fixed income investing, credit analysis and portfolio management. He holds an Honours in Finance from UCT and a BCom in Mathematical Science from Stellenbosch University, and has worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Sygnia before moving into his current role as Portfolio Analyst in January 2025. His experience includes evaluating investment opportunities, analysing risk and supporting long-term investment decision-making, with a particular focus on fixed income markets. He believes that effective capital allocation can drive meaningful outcomes — and is committed to helping members better understand how their retirement savings are put to work.
