THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Indexing of incoming documents and emails

  • Processing instructions and supporting documentation.

  • Ongoing project work in maintain, processing and cleansing data

  • Related to unallocated deposit identification, investigation and processing

  • Client and advisor corrections/changes

  • Assisting in audit / project documentation extraction

  • Processing of instructions includes, but is not limited to:

  • Validate and verify online instructions (inflows, outflows, maintenance)

  • Updating of client’s personal details

  • Change of debit orders

  • Change of beneficiaries

  • Updating banking details

  • Process instructions received within SLA in accordance with the relevant policies, legislation, and procedures.

  • Engage in communication with stakeholders, including query management, to complete instructions and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Providing accurate information to clients and building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Making recommendations for improving client service and fair treatment of clients within the scope of responsibility.

  • Responsible for exceptional dashboard maintenance which includes informative process note documentation, consistent follow ups, adherence to daily business SLAs.

  • Responsible for consistent performance outcomes in line with role

  • Maintain strong internal departmental relationships that will foster the growth of a culture in line with the Sygnia Group and Sygnia LISP strategies and vision.

  • Understand and adhere to the appropriate policies, standards and procedures applicable to the role. This includes a responsibility to ensure maintenance of professional learning and development.

  • Understand and manage risks and risk events relevant to the role and immediately report any findings to line manager(s) for discussion and resolution.

  • Report any anomalies and gaps in processes to line manager(s).

  • Maintain a healthy team spirit by assisting peers where needed, and where reasonably required, process ad hoc tasks as delegated to maintain stability of operations.

  • Continuously work toward the implementation of processes and controls that fosters an effective LISP environment.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

A successful candidate must have:

  • Post Matric qualification

  • 1 year experience of data capturing or in administration advantageous

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Strong working knowledge of word processing, and spreadsheets (Microsoft office).

  • Product knowledge of Lisp and Retirement Products advantageous
