If you leave your job, your pension fund will need a new home. You can move it to a preservation fund, transfer it to another pension fund or take the accessible pots in cash. You decide. But if you have a retirement annuity and you leave your job, nothing changes. It’s completely separate from your job, so it just keeps going as long as you’re contributing.
