Under the two-pot retirement system introduced in September 2024, your retirement savings are divided into different pots with different rules. A portion goes into your savings pot, which can be accessed before retirement, subject to the withdrawal rules. The rest goes into your retirement pot, which must remain invested until you retire. The aim is to provide some flexibility today while helping you preserve your savings for the future.
