The Sygnia Team Gives Back, Spreading Holiday Cheer!

Christmas is only a few weeks away and many little ones hope to find that top of the range doll or the scooter they have been secretly eyeing, under their Christmas tree. They wait in anticipation for Santa’s arrival, making sure mom and dad have told him that they have been good this year!

Unfortunately, not all children are privileged to receive gifts at Christmas time. Many live in dire circumstances and parents cannot afford even the bare necessities to make it through the year. This prompted the Sygnia team to spread some Christmas cheer to the less fortunate children in the community.

They joined Village Tots Educare, a registered NPO who works alongside Social Development in Maitland, Cape Town, for their Christmas party. Sygnia’s very own Santa brought along a little gift for each of the 94 children, ranging from 2-6 years old, who attended the party.

The staff and children were absolutely blown away by the team’s generosity and had the most special day. The joy and the sheer happiness experienced as they opened their gifts is the perfect end to 2015. Happy holidays!
